Week 9 Lab: Vector Analysis II

1) Update- produced similar results and looked almost the same except was maybe a little more difficult to interpret.

2) Erase- I wanted to exclude the area and the best way to exclude them is to erase them. I thought leaving them in there would only create a more confusing map.

Extra Credit Exercise

This week for extra credit I was asked to create a map of the largest land owners of Gulf County. The assignment was very straightforward and the write up for the lab was very well defined which allowed for a pretty easy workthrough.

Week 7 Lab: Editing in ArcGIS

This week I was asked to take a map similiar to that produced in the last lab and used what I learned from the ESRI lab to help me edit this map. This was fairly straight forward and the ESRI lab was very helpful in learning how to do this lab before I actually started it. The hardest part I had was creating a new shapefile before I read further down the instructions to where it told me how to perform this action.
